| financial modelling paradox:
when u r making the equation, it looks comprehensible
but after a while, when you revisit it again to fix some minor bugs, u really want to kill yourself
for example:
=IF(NOT(C12=C13),IF(C20=C1,-PV(C21,$C$13-$C$12-1,,AD15,1),IF(C20=D1,-PMT(C21,C13-C12,0,AD15),IF(C20=E1,-PMT(C21,5,0,(-PV(C21,C13-C12-5,,AD15))),0))),IF(C12=C13,-PV(C21,C16-1,,AD15,1)-(-PV(C21,C16-1,,AD53,1))))
then u look into each cell, and each cell has an equation as long as this.
what the!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| literature said the more competitors, the less lucrative
reality is.. 50% of the time... the other way around. the more competitors, the more lucrative
in fact, sometimes...
it's easier to make profit from an already established market with all these competitors
then to create a niche market and make profit from it

| - private equity and private wealth management, am i doing the right thing? interestingly enough, concepts that are created purely out of human brains can be as logical as the equations of nature. perhaps, controlling resources/wealth among people should follow nature.
- facebook, very very brilliant. completely agree. no such thing as product life cycle as long as there r ppl behind keeping on innovating it.
- plastic surgery, amazed by the number of ppl that hv been in it. and get seriously disturbed when i am supposed to be prettier than the girls, but now they r prettier than me. should i do it too? but it takes 4 prerequisites, money, courage, luck and good doctor. i dunt think i hv any of the aforementioned.
- oh.. right... church. i love it. makes so much sense to me. | | |
| if u possess a talent, u hv to develop it, and then eventually to display it, to make urself shine
similarly, if u possess many talents but dunt develop n display them, u r less attractive than a person who has just possessed one talent but developed it well
